“BREAKTHROUGH” week 1

Love Like You’ve Never been Hurt.”

The past two Sundays have offered the congregation at Sunset some incredible moments in God’s presence. Pastor Greg delivered a very powerful message on “Forgiveness” this past week and this week he will share a message on “Relationships.”

“Someone is going to deeply disappoint you!” “Someone is going to let you down!” “Someone is going to lie to you!” “Someone is going to stab you in the back!” “Someone is going to reject you!” So how do we “love like we’ve never been hurt?” Listen to Pastor Greg’s message.

Do you need a BREAKTHROUGH?

Do you need a BREAKTHROUGH?

One of the desires and goals of fasting is to draw closer to God, to know Him better, to hear clearly from Him.  So if that is our goal… just what does it take?  Scripture tells us that Jesus fasted and expected fasting to be a regular part of the believer’s life.  He tells us that it is something He even rewards (Matthew 6).  The people of Israel performed the ritual of fasting thinking it could make them “right” with God.  But because it was a duty and not done in the right way they did not hear from God. Who Do You Say I Am?

Filed under: Pastor Jordan, Video — Tags: — sunsetchristiancenter @ 9:48 am

Do you realize that the same question Jesus asked Peter over 2000 years ago…”who do you say I am?” is still being asked of you today? Many of us here at Sunset Christian Center would answer the question just like Peter, you are the Son of God, and you are the messiah. Today your going to learn what it means to be a Christian living a life as an answer to who YOU know Jesus is. It’s easy as Christians to say we know Him, but when it comes to living it out it’s a little different. We look forward to seeing you in the hallways of Sunset today for our special single Church service at 10:45am.

Today, Sunset Christian Center Sr. Pastor Greg Fairrington feels like God has given him a brand-new word about the Christmas story! When Mary got the special message from an angel saying that she was pregnant with God’s son and left Joseph had a choice to make of either having an Ichabod spirit (the Glory of God leaving!) or an Immanuel spirit (God with us!). Sunset, this is no time to take on an Ichabod spirit be here today to really understand how this one moment in history “Changed Everything!”.
